Personal Biography
Jeff was born in San Francisco, California, December 14, 1963. He lived with his father Jack, mother Berta, and older brother Jack Jr. in the Bay area until the age of 3. Somehow he still retained interest in the local Bay area sport teams. His family moved to Sacramento in 1967. Jeff's Dad became a well known, but more importantly well liked and admired trial lawyer in the Sacramento area. Jeff's Mom worked hard at raising, what became, 5 kids in all. Eventually these 5 kids grew to 15 grandkids.

Jeff was raised with strong moral values and a need to help others. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1983. Jeff attended St. Mary's College, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Jeff Attended UOP McGeorge School of Law between 1987 and 1991. He worked as a law clerk during the day and attended night classes in the evenings. Jeff met his business partner Leland H. Talcott in College. They both attended UOP McGeorge School of Law. Leland H. Talcott attended the day program and Jeff the night program.

After graduating Law school, Jeff began practicing with The Crow Law Firm. The firm specialized in Railroad/ F.E.L.A and personal injury litigation. A vast amount of knowledge and skill was obtained in the many years with The Crow Law Firm.

As time went on Jeff wanted to move on and run his own practice. As a result Sevey, Donahue & Talcott LLP was formed. The firm now specializes in significant personal injury cases. The firm is located in prestigious Granite Bay, California.

Jeff is a strong family man. He is married to his beautiful wife Sarah and has 4 daughters. He now lives in Newcastle California, located in the nearby foothills, above Sacramento.

Jeff is a member of The Capital City Trial Association, the consumer Attorneys of California and the Sacramento Bar Association. Jeff has handled over 1,500 cases in his career as a lawyer. Jeff is now the Senior partner in the law firm Sevey, Donahue & Talcott. Jeff acts as a pro tem judge as a mediator in his spare time.

Personal Biography
Matt comes from a longstanding legal background. Matt’s Father Jim Donahue and Brother Jim Donahue Jr. are well known and respected attorneys in Northern California and specifically the Sacramento area. Matt followed their lead and commitment to law and forged his own roots and reputation in the local community. Matt Graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 1991. He began his law career under the careful scrutiny of his brother Jim at Caulfield, Davies & Donahue. Matt worked as a defense attorney for 10 years earning the title of partner. The years with Caulfield, Davies & Donahue provided Matt with invaluable information on the defense tactics and insight on what actions are necessary when combating insurance companies.

Matt moved on to work for Clayeo C. Arnold, A Professional Law Corporation specializing in Plaintiffs personal injury in 2001. Matt practiced in the area of personal injury, products and premises liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, professional negligence and negligence. Matt earned a reputation as a very ethical and tough adversary.

In 2006 Matt joined the newly named law firm of Sevey, Donahue & Talcott L.L.P. Matt is now a full partner practicing in the same areas of law as before. Matt is now head of the litigation department and looks forward to many successful trials.

Matt is married to his lovely wife Desa. They live in Carmichael California with their two boys Nolen and Dalton. Matt enjoys SCUBA diving, snow skiing, water skiing, bike riding and spending valuable time with his family.

Matt is a member of the Sacramento Bar Association and Consumer Attorneys of California. Matt has handled over 2000 cases in his career. In Matt’s spare time he acts as Judge Pro Tem for Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado.

Personal Biography
Leland was born in San Francisco, California in 1965. From the time Leland was 8 years old, he knew he wanted to follow his father's footsteps and become an attorney. Leland's Father was General Counsel for a Fortune 100 company.

Leland graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 1983. In 1983, he attended St. Mary's College. He graduated in 1987 with a B.A. in Government. In 1987, Leland started law school at UOP, McGeorge School of law. He graduated in 1990 with distinction and was awarded membership in the Traynor Honor Society.

After law school, Leland worked for a corporate/ real estate firm in Sacramento. In 1992, Leland moved back to the Bay Area and joined a major law firm where he was a member of the Major Litigation Team. The Major Litigation Team only handled disputes in excess of 1 million dollars and, more frequently, concerned cases in excess of 10 million dollars. There, Leland's expertise centered on insurance coverage, personal injury and commercial disputes.

In 1994, Leland relocated to Florida to join Legacy Personnel Group, Inc. as its General Counsel. From 1994 through 2004, Leland was the Chief Legal Counsel for the company. There he handled all of the company's litigation and corporate disputes. Further, while working at Legacy Personnel Group, Inc., Leland was brought in to assist attorneys in California and Oregon in major litigation matters. Leland is a member of the board of directors and corporate secretary for Key Knife Inc.

In 2005, Leland joined his college and law school friend to form Sevey, Donahue & Talcott. This combination resulted in a well rounded law firm with experience, knowledge and skills at many different levels.

Leland is married to his beautiful wife Karen. He now has three children. Leland is a member of The Capital City Trial Association, The Consumer Attorneys of California and the Sacramento Bar Association.
